Reporting a zone that has changed

This is the most valuable message the site receives. ZTL boundaries and hours are set by each Comune and change without much notice, and no third-party map can track every ordinance the day it is published. People who live in a town, or who have just driven through it, spot these things long before we do.

To make a correction easy to act on, please include:

• the town or city, and the zone if it has a name;
• what has changed — the hours, the boundary, or whether it is enforced at all;
• where you saw it, if you can: a link to the Comune page, a photograph of the sign, or simply the street where the gate is;
• the date you were there.

A photograph of the sign at the gate is the single most useful thing you can send. Zone hours quoted on this site are only ever as good as their source, and a sign settles the question.

If you have already been fined

We cannot contest a fine on your behalf, look up your plate, or tell you whether a particular notice is valid — this site has no access to any Comune's records and no standing to act for you. What we can do is explain how the process works. Privacy and data requests

The site holds no accounts and asks for no personal information, so there is usually very little to disclose or erase. If you want to ask what is held about you, or to raise anything else covered by the privacy policy, write to the same address and put Privacy in the subject line so it is not missed.

Advertising, press and reuse

The site is funded by advertising, which is disclosed in the privacy policy and never affects which zones are shown or what the guides say. For advertising enquiries, press questions, or permission to reuse the maps or written guides, use the same address and say which it is. How long a reply takes

Most messages get an answer within a few days. Corrections are read first and are often applied to the site before the reply is sent, so if a town's entry changes shortly after you write, that was you. Messages asking us to intervene in an individual fine will get a short, honest reply pointing at the guides rather than a long one raising false hope.
