Terms of use
ZTL Italia is a free tool, made voluntarily to help tourists and visitors see where Italy's Limited Traffic Zones (ZTL) are and when they apply. Please read these terms before you rely on it.

If you get a fine, it is not this site's fault
You alone are responsible for obeying the actual road signs and the rules in force where you drive. If you enter a ZTL and receive a fine, penalty, charge, or any other consequence, that is not the responsibility of this site or the people who made it. When in doubt, do not enter, and check the official Comune (municipality) first.
What this site is
ZTL Italia is a free project built voluntarily to help people visiting Italy. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any Comune, police force, transport authority, or government body. It may show ads or affiliate links to help cover its running costs, but that never changes the ZTL information it shows.
The information may be wrong or out of date
ZTL boundaries, active hours, exceptions, and permit rules change often, and they vary by season, by day, and even by individual entry gate. The zone shapes shown here come from third-party open data and may be outdated, incomplete, simplified, or simply incorrect. Hours are indicative only, and for most cities we link to the source page rather than listing them. Treat everything here as a rough guide, not as fact.
No liability for fines, penalties, or losses
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and its authors accept no responsibility or liability for any fine, penalty, towing, fee, loss, or damage of any kind arising from your use of this site, including driving into a ZTL. You use this site entirely at your own risk.
Always verify with official sources
Before driving in or near any historic centre, confirm the current ZTL rules on the official Comune website or with the local police (Polizia Municipale). If anything here disagrees with the official source or the signs on the street, the official source and the signs always win.
Advertising and affiliate links
This site may display ads or links to third-party products and services (for example car rental, parking, or travel cover). Some of these are affiliate links, which means the site may earn a small commission if you buy something, at no extra cost to you. These links never influence the ZTL data or where zones are shown. If display ads are shown, the ad provider (such as Google AdSense) may use cookies; where required, you will be asked for consent first. Any third party you visit has its own terms and privacy policy.
Third-party data and services
Map tiles © OpenStreetMap contributors and © CARTO. ZTL zone geometry and information are derived from accessibilitacentristorici.it. Their own data, licences, and terms apply to those parts.
Provided "as is"
This site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
By using ZTL Italia you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
